Yelena Strickland, LMHC

About Yelena Strickland

Yelena joined PCHS in 2020 and was originally from Russia. She got her bachelor’s degree in medical psychology from St. Petersburg State University, Russia in 1997. Upon moving to America, she earned her Master of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento in 2006.

Her previous experience includes working in outpatient community mental health clinics as a counselor and intake specialist. Yelena has been working in the mental health field since 2015 and uses a variety of approaches when working with clients, using mostly humanistic and cognitive-behavioral perspectives.
