About Destiny Hanson
Destiny began her healthcare career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she developed a deep appreciation for patient-centered care and compassionate service. She later expanded her clinical experience as a Medical Assistant and Care Coordinator, working closely with patients and care teams to support access, continuity, and quality of care. These foundational roles shaped her understanding of healthcare delivery from the front lines and strengthened her commitment to serving diverse communities.
Destiny earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Studies with a minor in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University. Her academic background, combined with her hands-on clinical experience, allowed her to transition into broader organizational initiatives within healthcare. She brought this well-rounded perspective to PCHS, where she now serves as Communications Coordinator. In this role, she oversees internal and external communications, supports strategic messaging, and ensures alignment between organizational goals and community engagement.
Her passion lies in advancing health equity and strengthening trust through thoughtful, transparent communication. Destiny believes that effective communication is essential to building strong teams, empowering patients, and fostering meaningful community partnerships. She is deeply passionate about PCHS and its mission to provide equitable healthcare to all individuals, regardless of age, race, or financial background. She is energized by opportunities to support innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Destiny values strong community ties and meaningful service.
