About Zachary Hugo
Zachary Hugo joined PCHS in 2026 and is excited to provide excellent and compassionate primary care to patients in Kitsap County. Their expertise lies in forming meaningful connections with their patients so that they can engage in shared decision making with all available information. Hugo is passionate about serving their queer community; they have studied queer medicine and gender affirming care and are excited to put those skills into their practice. They strive to improve patient advocacy though inclusion of marginalized voices, and they believe the mantra of “not about us, without us.” Hugo values evidence-based medicine and optimize the best treatment plan possible with the resources available.
In their free time, Hugo enjoys nerdy creative outlets, such as Dungeons and Dragons campaign, Magic the Gathering, Renaissance Festivals, and video games. Hugo is a transplanted desert lizard, from Arizona, who is absolutely adoring the Pacific Northwest, and is happy to have escaped the convection oven that is the Phoenix heat.
