Peninsula Community Health Services late last month opened a new behavioral health intervention clinic in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island.
Founded in 1987, PCHS serves the Kitsap, Mason, and rural Pierce County areas. A team of 350 serves more than 40,000 patients.
The new Bainbridge Island clinic will provide primary care and behavioral health services with navigator support to help patients connect with resources, coordinate care, and navigate the health care system, according to a recent Bainbridge Island Review article.
The clinic features exam rooms and one procedure room. PCHS said that the new location’s proximity to local shops and community spaces marks an effort to be more accessible and integrated in the community.
