Volunteering with
Peninsula Community Health Services allows you the freedom to donate
your time and skills in various areas of the health care industry.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to participate in numerous
educational and community outreach events such as health fairs and
fundraisers.

can be useful in any job. Plus, many individuals find volunteer work
fulfilling because they know they are helping a worthwhile organization.

Areas you
can help
There are volunteer
positions available at each of our sites. You can provide services in
any of the following areas.
Medical:
Provide
assistance to the medical staff at one of our three clinics by becoming
an office assistant. Help pull and file charts with the medical records
team. Or, use your previous medical experience to become one of our
volunteer providers.
Dental:
Assist our dental
offices in making appointments and pulling charts.
Pharmacy: Count
and stock medications, answer telephones and assist customers.
Administration:
You can assist the Human Resources or Billing staff by providing office
support or spend some time as a volunteer receptionist greeting guests
and answering phones.
Facilities: If you're into maintenance and grounds keeping then
you can assist our Facilities staff in maintaining beautiful PCHS
campuses.
Outreach/Special
Events: Help the Development
Team maintain a strong PCHS brand through various fundraising activities
and community outreach events. Special events are held throughout the
year and include our annual signature fundraiser.

Board of Directors:
Whether you are one of our patients or just a community member
interested in our mission, volunteering for our Board can be for you.
Our Board helps guide the organization toward its goals.
Committees: PCHS committees work under the direction of our
senior leaders and support the individual programs within the
organization. Committees include:
