1986, University of Washington School of Medicine; Seattle, WA

     David is the newest of our pharmacists, having just arrived in October. He says he chose to become a pharmacist because it married his love for chemistry with his desire to help the community. Born and raised in Bremerton, WA - his family has been entrenched in the community since 1918 - he says he began his career in public health after substituting for a vacationing pharmacist for the Makah Nation.
     David has been playing the classical trumpet for the last 35 years and he says he enjoys teaching the next generations of trumpeters through private lessons. He sings with the Bremerton Symphony Chorale and Our Lady Star of the Sea Choir and - by his own admission - is a complete Netflix "junkie."

"The only thing we take with us through life and beyond - and that is truly our own - is our experience while we are here."
