     Dr. Ortiz joined PCHS in the summer of 2007. She says she chose the health care field because she couldn't imagine another field being quite as fulfilling. She says her favorite part of her job is being able to help families that have limited resources.
     Dr. Ortiz enjoys jogging, spending time with her son, and cooking and baking. She says she likes the Harry Potter book series and her favorite music is her husband's guitar music.
     Dr. Ortiz is a native of Quezon City, Philippines - the former capital city with more than 2.4 million people.
