Originally from Astoria, OR - a city of 10,000 nestled along the Columbia River - Amy has been working in social work for the last 13 years. She came to PCHS roughly six months ago in a partnership role with Kitsap Mental Health Services to help address our patients' growing needs for behavioral health specialists. She says she has a passion to support patients who might not otherwise afford specialty services.
A nature and wildlife enthusiast, Amy likes reading, making her own jewelry and also enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible. Her favorite movie is Harvey - the 1950 Jimmy Stewart classic based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play - and she claims to have collected a large anthology of Dave Mathew's Band music over the years.

In her own words ...

" ... enjoy life for what it is, find meaning in simple things, care about the people around you and make lasting stories from the events in your life."
