 Pharmacy Services

Prescription medications can be an extremely important tool in managing acute and
chronic illnesses, as well as maintaining overall good health. However the cost of prescriptions can be a barrier for many individuals, especially for the uninsured and
those without prescription drug cov
erage.

Through its fully-licensed Class A pharmacies in the Bremerton and Port Orchard
health centers and the pharmacy dispensary in Poulsbo, established PCHS patients
can obtain low-cost medications. The pharmacy also assists low-income patients in applying for free medications through the Medication Assistance Programs offered by pharmaceutical companies, as well as enrolling in Pfizer’s “Sharing the Care” program, which provides three month’s supply of specific medications for a nominal fee.
