Care to Jazz History

Care to Jazz is PCHS' signature fundraising event held annually in July featuring entertainment from some the Northwest's premier jazz performers. Preparing to enter its 8th year in 2009, Care to Jazz has raised more than $150,000 since its inception in 2002, with nearly $82,000 benefiting the Edwin G. Tegenfeldt, MD Patient Care Fund.

The event is a Friday evening affair - outside on the patio of the Silverdale Beach Hotel overlooking the exquisite Dye's Inlet - that features a delectable buffet dinner, no-host cocktails, live and silent auctions and an evening of wonderful jazz music. The money raised throughout the evening is an invaluable contribution to a fund that helps patients pay for ancillary fees such as prescription medications, x-rays and lab fees.
