 Care to Jazz Festival

Headliner, Michael Powers - back to Care to Jazz for his third performance in five years - took to the stage inside the hotel ballroom later Saturday evening. The final performance of the day featured Powers at his best; onstage with the lights down low, and his guitar humming. Guests were treated to a delectable dessert buffet as well.

New to Care to Jazz this year was a prize drawing, which featured a silk ficus tree adorned with gift certificates to various restaurants and retail stores throughout Kitsap County. Total cash value of the prize was estimated at more than $1,200. Carol Derrick of Port Orchard was the lucky ticket holder. Congratulations, Carol.
