7th annual event to be hosted July 11-12
Care to Jazz returns on Fri., July 11 and
Sat., July 12 at the Silverdale Beach Hotel. Mark your calendars and be
sure to join us for what will undoubtedly be another fantastic year of
food, dancing, auctions and jazz music. Get ready for our biggest lineup
of artists yet, including another encore from the one and only
Michael
Powers. Whether you consider yourself a jazz enthusiast, or just
someone who appreciates a great blend of entertainment, you won't want
to miss this fabulous festival weekend.

The Friday Night Gala Benefit will
be July 11 from 5:30-10:30 pm out on the hotel patio. A sumptuous buffet
dinner along Dyes Inlet, dancing, live and silent auctions - with
Kitsap's own Cris Larsen acting as the evening's emcee - highlight an
evening of great fun. Tickets are $50 per person and whole tables of 10
can be purchased at your request. Entertainment includes:

Saturday's Jazz at the Beach will
be an all-day festival concert from 11 am to 10:30 pm featuring:

Tickets for Saturday are $15 for General
Admission. If you are interested in the evening capstone events
featuring Karen Shivers and/or Michael Powers, tickets are an additional
$25 and $30 respectively. Karen Shivers' performance inside the hotel's
restaurant, Josef's, includes a wine and cheese tasting. Michael Powers'
nightcap includes a dessert selection.
*Are you a jazz musician? Whether you're
just learning Hamp's Boogie Woogie or a seasoned jazz vet,
bring your
instrument and jam along with the Olympic College Jazz Faculty. They'll
be out on the patio bebopin' away beginning at 11:45 am.
