     Susan has been a member of the PCHS staff for more than 8 years now, overseeing the daily operations of our Human Resources Department. Her department is responsible for staffing; HR development and management; compensation and benefits; employee and labor relations; employee health, safety and security; Equal Employment Opportunity; staffing and volunteers.
     She says the most gratifying aspect of her job is seeing a patient connect with a provider and knowing that, in some way, she has a part in their meeting.
     Susan is a native of Tucson, AZ - a city with nearly 520,000 residents. She is the diversity director for the West Sound Human Resource Management Association Board, as well as an alumnus of Leadership Kitsap. She enjoys all types of music, but says country music is her favorite.

"I enjoy feeling the warmth of the sun while fishing in a boat on the calm blue waters of Washington lakes."
